THE RULES
YOU GOTTA READ EM!
1. Grand Odyssey is a Cross Fantasy VRMMO Roleplay, anything outside of the lore boundaries will not be tolerated here. We're all here to have fun but let's stick within our realm please.
2. When it comes to making characters, you are free to make as many as you'd like, however, upon the completion of your third character, you must reach level 50 with one of three before creating a new one. We're not trying to limit your creativity, just make sure the applications thread isn't overun by multiple characters created by one individual. Thank you for understanding.
3. Immediately after getting your character accepted, visit the "Who is Who" thread and let a moderator know.
4. We really hate to bring this to your attention, but unfortunately this is one of THOSE PG-13 sites. However, there is no defined idea on what PG-13 states. With that in mind, we're going to go with the modern standard and allow for swearing to be moderated by the player. If you feel the character has to swear at that exact moment, go ahead and drop a word or two, but let's not make this an excessive thing. If you do make it excessive, the 5-step banning process will be activated.
5. This isn't exactly mandatory, more of a suggestion--however, we would like to see it done as much as possible. If you're new to the site and you just signed up, please drop a thread in the introductions sub-board. I'd like to personally speak with and meet as many of you as I possibly can and I know that the other members will be eager to see some new faces too.
6. We don't exactly want this to happen but it's something I fear we must discuss. We don't ever want to have to ban anyone from the site, doing so is obviously the complete opposite of gaining members, but people will do some stupid stuff at times and we're going to take action. Here's the deal on the whole banning thing, if you do something that's against the rules once then we'll have to talk about it. If it happens a second time it'll result in a warning with 30 minute ban and the third will result in a one day ban and discussion with a mod; fourth will bring three days and fifth will be permanent.
7. If there is a problem with our staff, please take it up with an admin, if your problem is with one of the administrators please talk to a different adminstrator. Make sure when you come to us you have evidence of what you are presenting, and text can be altered, therefore we would like you to screen-shot and send to us every and all things you complain about. It's not like we're doubting you guys, honestly, we just want to make sure we can see everything for our very own eyes; just in case.
8. Hey guys, I know this, again, isn't something you'd rather hear repeated with every forum but it's a very strict and enforced rule in the TOS so we have to bring it up. Any forms of racism and or religious slander will immediately result in a one day ban from the place it'd been done from. If it was done in the cbox, you'll be banned from there. If it was done in one of your posts--well, I'm sure you get the point. A second offensive will bring about a 3 day ban with the third offense being a permanent ban. NOTE: IC Racism and Religious Slandering is allowed. So long as it pertains to the fictional characters we've created here, it's all good.

Please, for the love of all that is Tamria, keep your personal OOC beef out of the cbox and keep it out of the roleplay. Any kind of issue you have with another player or administrator should be taken to private messages. If you can't manage that, maybe this may be the wrong place for you.
10. Cybering. Oh boy did I dread having to talk about this. Look, I completely understand that sometimes the situation calls for more than just a little smooch and kiss, but if it needs to go any further then that; you've got skype or some kind of other private messaging system to do your dirty deeds in. Please, keep the cybering out of the forums. We all want to keep this place alive and in order to do so we have to at least follow SOME of the TOS rules, right?
11. From the moment you enter Grand Odyssey, you become a member of our family. We're all brothers and sisters here; looking to have some fun in the roleplay community we've all had our share of creating. Have fun with everything you do here! Roleplay is meant to be a fun thing for us all; it'd be a shame if you started to no longer enjoy it. With that in mind, I welcome you all home; for Tamria.

In regards to Face Claims, your first step is to head to the "Face Claim" thread located in Player Customization. Make sure your Face Claim is given prior to customization, if you forgot this step and someone took the face claim..well..fair dues?
